A new building with quick and efficient response
Avant Medic is a new clinic located in Lleida, Catalonia, Spain.
This medical center is specialized in global care throughout the health process of its users and constitutes a benchmark of high level specialized medicine for the entire population of Lleida and its area of influence.
Challenge
- A new buidling project which needed a nurse call system with intercom in order to give a quick and efficent response to all patient’s needs.
Solution
- In need of the best technical equipment with the most comfortable facilities available on the market, the iCall solutions were choosen because of the IP topology, distributed intelligence and open standards.
- Each room is completely independent from the rest of the facility, as an abolute security standard, in the (unlikely) event of a local systems breakdown.
- It is also important that the solution complies with the DIN VDE 0834 standard.
- And finally, it was valued the option of an easy integrating of nursecall with other alarms, such as fire and evacuation alarms. In adittion, the smartphone solution allows worker’s mobility, enabling best quality services to all individual patients.
Result
- Twenty one single rooms with the highest level of security and confort.
- SIP-Touch screen units in each room on the headboard and light controlled bed switches, result in a highest standard care facility, offering best and most individual patient care.
