Challenge
The project is a new hospital building wich will be part of a minor surgery clinic with hospital services in I,II,II and IV level of complexity: surgical specialized service (two operating rooms), maternity ward, adult and intermediate intensive care unit, neonatal intensive and basic care unit, padiatric intensive unit and hospitalization service.
The client requiered the best solution for the nurse call system for all hospital’s needs and requirements. A system that fully supports the individual professionals during their work, using full IP-standards and able to easily integrate more devices in the future.
Solution
The end-user had the choice between the European (CE/VDE) and the American (UL1069) range and went for the first option. The combination of SIP-based 2-way speech devices, the fact that a light is activated whenever a patient makes a call and the fact that all units and alarms could be routed and escalated individually were the convincing factors.
